8,000 attendees at the WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2018 in Vienna
Europe’s leading developers congress – WeAreDevelopers World Congress 2018 – has successfully taken place last week, stretching from 16th to 18th of May. The congress has started with an impressive speech and presentation held by Steve Wozniak last Wednesday, which prepared the excited crowd for all the presentations and activities to come. The introduction of Apple’s co-founder was followed by more than 100 tech experienced speakers, who presented on a large variety of currently relevant “hot topics”. The exhilarated audience and participants enjoyed the numerous presentations revolving around different topics, whereas the most relevant issues were the ones concerning the Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, VR/AR and Blockchain Technologies.
This year’s WeAreDevelopers congress was the first time that the BOC Group has had the opportunity to take place and participate in this event. We are very glad that we have had the chance to have a lot of interesting chats with (future) developers and tech experts. What’s more, we are also happy to share that the challenge we have provided specifically for the purposes of this event was a great success. Already on the first day, we have recorded around 70 registrations of interested participants who wanted to give our task a try. In addition to that, most of the event’s participants were fascinated by our event T-shirt, which is along with a Nintendo Switch, one of the possible awards for completing this challenge.
